proficiency. He has developed and taught in-house training programs for PM’s, Estimators and Superintendents
in the efficient use of Estimating, Scheduling, Contract Management and Job Cost methodologies to assure
consistent use.
Combined procedures learned and developed over the years to create a step by step approach to address each
of the Design/Engineering, Safety, Estimating, Construction Operations and Close-Out Phases of a project to
produce the most favorable outcome.
Coordinated project progression with staff of Engineers, Planners, Architects, Counsel and Marketing during the
Development of new projects through the Permitting, Financing, Construction, Build-Out and Tenant Lease
phases. Strengthened relationships with government entities having jurisdiction over the projects in order to
facilitate fast-track approval and construction schedules.
Reviewed project proposals and plans to verify time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing
projects, staffing requirements, and requests for resources to assure compliance with both Project and Corporate
requirements. Directed and coordinated activities of project personnel to ensure projects progressed safely, on
schedule and within prescribed budget. Monitored profit and loss statements during the estimating and
construction phases of all projects.
Responsible for managing the Project Management and Estimating staff. Implemented training programs to
strengthen the Project Managers skills in Contract management and the development of Claims and Change
Order requests. Developed new relationships with local, national and international clients, including visits to the
Middle East. Major contributor to the success of this company while they nearly tripled their volume in the five
years he worked for them.
